Subaru Family for Life

"Well that escalated quickly" has been the quote of the day for today. Last night when my boyfriend Trevor arrived home after work, we were greeted with the worst sound a vehicle should be able to make. He parked the 1993 s10 Sonoma and popped the hood; a mixture of antifreeze and oil was leaking onto our new driveway. The "sten" as we call it, was done for. The noise was a voice of the devil telling him it was time to let him go. Haha. So today we both took a day off work to shop for a used car. (My job lately has required me to move locations so I would need my car mid day, otherwise I would have just let him take it!)
Our first stop was in Kirkland, then we made it up to lynnwood. No luck. We kept looking on Craigslist, calling around for availability and making sure everyone was opening. (Before we called in, we should have made sure that today wasn't a holiday! *happy MLK day*) We made it down to Federal Way, ate at good ol Buffalo Wild Wings (I worked at the Puyallup one for a year and a half) checked out one last dealership and finally had it.
Previously, Trevor had purchased a car from Mike Scarff Subaru in Auburn, so when I got my car- I went and saw Gabe from there as well.
We called them up and came to look at a1999, a 16 year old car. He needs something to take to work tomorrow!
He priced out different vehicles and finally he found the one. Today he is driving home in a brand NEW 2015 Subaru Crosstrek! It is so nice; black interior, touch screen, big back seat and we can lay down the back seats so the dogs have a ton of room! I'm excited to learn to drive manual now! ;) I am very happy for my hard workin' man!
